Pre-K through 6th Grade!
My decades of classroom experience have taught me that children learn best when they feel safe, supported, challenged, and inspired. I firmly believe that learning should be fun! With my background in the arts, I infuse lessons with creativity and enthusiasm. Everyone learns differently, and I am dedicated to developing learning plans that take into account your child’s strengths, challenges, interests, and learning style. I incorporate games, art, and movement into my sessions.
Does your child hate reading? As the former library associate at The John Thomas Dye School, I have grown adept at helping children become lifelong readers by introducing them to books and series they love.
Does your child dread writing assignments? As a Story Pirate, I have adapted and created tons of fun writing exercises, activities, and prompts to unlock the imagination and help kids find their voices.
Does your child hate math? As a classroom teacher at some of the finest elementary schools in Los Angeles and New York, I have collected math games and math-based art projects that sneakily transform math-weary students into mathematicians.
